Tangier 1 Day Guided Tour with Transportation

Great tour

An excellent guided experience of Tangiers and the surrounding area. We felt the process was also good based on the guide, transport and the ferry crossing all being included. We were met at the port in Tarifa and given our tickets. The process was all very straightforward, but a warning to ensure you get into the queue for passports on the ferry itself as soon as you can as this took a long time. After a short crossing, we were met by a friendly Rachid who spotted us from a distance and organised us for the bus. The coach itself was modern, clean and air-conditioned. We were handed over to our tour guide for the day, Abdul, who did a great job. The tour included a stop for the view of the Mediterranean meeting the Atlantic, an optional quick camel ride, a trip to the very strange Hercules Cave, and then finishing in the town. We had lunch in a Moroccan restaurant, a visit to a synagogue, and then taken to the main area for shopping. Given about 1.5 hrs for shopping free time. This was enough, before being delivered back to the port for the return trip on the ferry. Abdul did well to keep things on track, particularly as one large party would not follow the timing instructions, and would never stop talking on the bus to be able to hear the guide speak. In the end, he had to split the group in two so that the rest of us could complete the tour properly. Well done Abdul!

Amazing luxury trip to Tangier

What a day! What a guy! We booked our day trip to Tangier, Morocco with Mohammed. He sent over our ferry tickets and met us at the port with clear instructions. From then, a day (7 hours in Tangier) felt like a week. We were chauffeured driven which meant that stopped at parks, markets, mosques, and other viewpoints around the city. We visited Cap Spartel, a beautiful viewpoint and lighthouse. We went in the Cave of Hercules, and had a camel ride on the beach. We had sweet treats and Moroccan tea in a beautiful cafe terrace, and ate a delicious traditional lunch. Mohammed was on hand all day to tip anyone who needed it for the little extras ( like feeding a monkey!), and to make sure we had the best price when shopping. He got us bottled water at regular intervals and made sure we were comfortable and safe. My mobility is a little limited and he adjusted routes as needed. Most of all, he was a mine of information about Tangier and Morocco. Mohammed was a delight all day; informative, charming and funny. We can’t recommend him highly enough.

Great Flight with Superb Cabin Crew

Great flight from East Midlands Airport on 11th June 2024. The Cabin Crew were superb - efficient, friendly and very helpful. They all greeted us with wonderful smiles and we were well looked after.
