    From the Gibraltar Botanic Gardens, The Rock Hotel is a short walk uphill along Europa Road. The walk takes approximately 5-10 minutes. Follow Europa Road south, and the hotel will be on your left.

    Several bus routes stop near The Rock Hotel. Take the Gibraltar Bus Company Route 3 and disembark at the Europa Road bus stop, a short walk from the hotel. A single bus ticket costs £1.80. Alternatively, the Citibus Route 10 stops near the Gibraltar Cable Car, from where you can walk to the hotel. A single ticket on Citibus costs £1.60.

    Taxis are readily available throughout Gibraltar, including at the airport and the border. A taxi ride from the Gibraltar International Airport to The Rock Hotel typically costs around £13.60, depending on traffic and the specific route. Taxis can be found at the airport terminal, both sides of the border crossing and from the main taxi rank in Grand Casemates Square.

Built in 1932 by John Crichton-Stuart, the 4th Marquess of Bute, the hotel quickly gained a reputation as one of Europe's finest. Set within 3.6 hectares of landscaped gardens, the hotel offers 104 rooms, each providing stunning views of the Bay of Gibraltar, the Spanish mainland, and the Rif Mountains of Morocco. Guests at the time experienced the unique perspective of witnessing military activities firsthand. In 1959, the Bland Group acquired the hotel and has been managed by the Gaggero family since then.
