If you are starting from the center of Alexandroupoli, head south towards the waterfront promenade (Paralia Alexandroupolis). Continue walking along the promenade until you reach the end where you will see the large white lighthouse. From there, turn left onto Eirinis Street. Follow Eirinis Street until you reach the intersection with Kallitheas Street. Turn right onto Kallitheas Street and continue walking straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see Profitis Ilias Church on your left. It is a beautiful Greek Orthodox church set on a slight elevation, making it visible from a distance.
