Metro
If you are near Syntagma Square, take the Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards the 'Drafi' station. Alight at the next station, which is 'Syntagma'. From there, exit the station and walk towards the main square. The Athens National Garden is located just behind the Greek Parliament building. Head to 'Leof. Vasilisis Amalias' street and walk down the path that leads into the garden entrance.
Bus
You can take the bus line 550 from 'Omonia Square'. Board the bus at the Omonia Square bus stop, and disembark at the 'Syntagma' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards the Greek Parliament and head to 'Leof. Vasilisis Amalias' street. The entrance to the Athens National Garden is just behind the Parliament.
Walking
If you are staying in the Plaka neighborhood, it is an easy 15-minute walk to the Athens National Garden. Start at the 'Apostolou Pavlou' street and head towards 'Syntagma Square'. Once at the square, walk towards the Greek Parliament, and you will find the entrance to the garden at 'Leof. Vasilisis Amalias'.
Taxi
You can easily find a taxi at most locations in Athens. Tell the driver to take you to 'Leof. Vasilisis Amalias 1, near the Greek Parliament'. The taxi will drop you off right at the entrance to the Athens National Garden.
