Getting There

Metro
Start your journey at Syntagma Metro Station, which is located in the heart of Athens. Take the Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Doukissis Plakentias. Stay on the train for 7 stops until you reach the stop 'Monastiraki'. At Monastiraki, transfer to Line 1 (the green line) towards Kifisia. Ride for 3 stops and get off at 'Kerameikos' station. From here, it's about a 15-minute walk to the Sanctuary of Demeter. Head northwest on Iera Odos Street, then turn left onto Apollonos Dafniforou Street. Continue until you reach the sanctuary at number 24.

From Syntagma Square, head to the bus stop located at the square. Take bus number 040 towards Piraeus. Ride for about 15 minutes, then get off at the stop 'Kifisia'.
