Ferry
Several ports along the North Euboean Gulf are accessible by ferry from the mainland. For example, ferries connect Rafina (near Athens) to Marmari, Eretria, and Edipsos. Oropos (Attica) offers a frequent and inexpensive ferry service to Eretria. Ticket prices vary depending on the route and season, so it's best to check schedules and book in advance. Keep in mind that ferry schedules may be affected by weather conditions.
Driving
If driving from Athens, you can reach Chalkida via the E962, a drive of approximately 1 hour. From Chalkida, coastal roads provide access to various towns and attractions along the North Euboean Gulf. Be aware that some roads may be narrow and winding. Parking is generally available in towns and villages, but it can be limited during peak season. There are no tolls on the immediate approach to most coastal towns, but tolls may apply on the main highways leading to the region.
