Getting There

Metro
If you are starting from Syntagma Square, take the Metro Line 3 (the blue line) towards Aghia Marina. Get off at the Evangelismos station. Once you exit the station, head northeast on Vasileos Sophias Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Kifissias Avenue, and then take a left. Follow Kifissias Avenue until you reach the entrance of Mount Lycabettus. The hike to the peak is about 20-30 minutes, and you will be rewarded with stunning views of Athens.

From the Acropolis area, head to the bus stop at Makrygianni. Take bus number 204 towards Galatsi. After about 15 minutes, get off at the stop for the Lycabettus Hill. From there, follow the signs to the entrance of Mount Lycabettus. The walk to the peak will take you approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace.
