Getting There

Metro
Start at Syntagma Metro Station (Line 3 - the blue line) and board the train towards the airport. Travel for 4 stops, approximately 10 minutes, until you reach Monastiraki Station. At Monastiraki, change to Line 1 (the green line) towards Kifisia. Travel for 1 stop, approximately 2 minutes, to Omonoia Station. From Omonoia, switch to Line 2 (the red line) towards Elliniko. Travel for 2 stops, approximately 4 minutes, to Acropolis Station. Exit the station and walk towards the Acropolis. Head southwest on Kifissias Street, then turn right onto Apostolou Pavlou Street. The Remains Athens State Prison will be on your left at Apostolou Pavlou 23.

From Syntagma Square, walk to the bus stop at Syntagma. Take bus number 500 towards Omonia. After approximately 10 minutes and 5 stops, get off at the stop for the Acropolis. From the bus stop, walk towards the Acropolis entrance, then head southwest on Kifissias Street. Turn right onto Apostolou Pavlou Street, and you will find the Remains Athens State Prison at Apostolou Pavlou 23.
