If you are starting from the Old Harbor of Chania, head east along the waterfront promenade. Enjoy the beautiful views of the harbor as you walk. Continue straight until you reach the end of the promenade, where you will see the entrance to the old town. Enter the old town and take a right onto Halidon Street (Chalidon Street). Walk along Chalidon Street for about 10 minutes, and you will see the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption on your left at Chalidon 46.

From the Municipal Market of Chania, exit the market and head south on Zambeliou Street. After a few minutes, turn left onto Chalidon Street. Continue walking straight along Chalidon Street for approximately 5 minutes, and you will find the Cathedral of Saint Mary of the Assumption located at Chalidon 46.

If you are at the bus station (Ktel), exit the station and head towards the main road. Walk towards the Old Town, crossing over to Kydonias Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Zambeliou Street, then turn right. Follow Zambeliou Street until you reach the Municipal Market, then follow the previous directions from the market to the Cathedral.
