If you are starting from the center of Chania, head towards the Old Harbor. From the harbor, walk along the waterfront promenade towards the east until you reach the end of the harbor. Continue straight on Odos 1866, which is a pedestrian street filled with shops and cafes. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will reach the intersection with Ioannou Sfakianaki Street. Turn left onto Ioannou Sfakianaki Street and walk for about 400 meters. The Historical Archive of Crete will be on your right at Ioannou Sfakianaki 20.

You can also take a local bus from the central bus station in Chania. Find the bus heading towards the 'Chania Town' route. Get off at the 'Kavouri' bus stop. From there, walk back towards the intersection and turn left onto Ioannou Sfakianaki Street.
