Walking
If you are starting from the Old Venetian Harbor, walk east along the waterfront promenade (Akti Kountourioti) towards the end of the harbor. Continue straight to the intersection with K. Kourmouli Street. Turn right onto K. Kourmouli Street and walk until you reach the intersection with 1866 Street. Turn left onto 1866 Street and continue walking until you reach the junction with Splantzia Square. From Splantzia Square, head southeast on Vivilaki Street until you reach the War Memorial, which is located in the square.

If you are near the Chania Central Market (Agora), exit the market and head west on Chatzimichali Giannari Street towards the Old Town. Walk straight, then turn right onto 1866 Street. Continue on 1866 Street until you reach Splantzia Square, then proceed southeast on Vivilaki Street until you arrive at the War Memorial.

Public Transport
From the bus station in Chania, take any local bus heading towards the city center. Get off at the 'Plateia 1866' stop. From there, walk east along 1866 Street until you reach Splantzia Square. The War Memorial is located in this square, just a short walk from the bus stop.
