Bus
From Chania, head to the main bus station (Ktel Chania) near the city center. Purchase a ticket to 'Kandanos'. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive in Kandanos, follow the signs towards 'Kandanos Selino'. Walk along the main road (Unnamed Road) heading towards the direction of Selino. After about 30 minutes, look for a trail on your left leading to the Carved Caves. The entrance is marked by a small sign.
Bus
If you are in Rethymnon, go to the Ktel bus station and catch a bus to Chania. Once in Chania, transfer to a bus heading to Kandanos as previously described. After reaching Kandanos, follow the same instructions to reach the Carved Caves.
Walking
If you are staying in Kandanos, you can easily walk to the Carved Caves. Start from the town square and head towards the Unnamed Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 km. Look out for the trail that goes off to your left, which will take you to the caves.
