From Heraklion city center, find the KTEL bus station located on 1866 street. Look for the buses heading towards 'Hersonissos' or 'Malia' and make sure to get on a bus that stops at 'Gouves'. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the CRETAquarium. After disembarking, walk towards the seafront, and you will see the entrance of CRETAquarium a short distance ahead.

If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from wherever you are in Heraklion. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'CRETAquarium Thalassokosmos' in Gouves.
