Bus
From Heraklion, take the KTEL bus from the central bus station (Bus Station A) towards Agios Vasilios. The journey takes approximately 2 hours. Ask the driver to let you know when you reach Agios Vasilios. Once you arrive, you can find local taxis or you can ask for directions to Kourtaliotiko Gorge, which is about 10 km away from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Agios Vasilios. Simply tell the driver 'Kourtaliotiko Gorge' or show them the address: Μύρθιος Αγίου Βασιλείου, ΤΚ, Ag. Vasilios 740 53. The taxi ride should take around 15 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in Agios Vasilios and prefer to walk, head south on the main road (Epar.Od. Agiou Vasileiou - Mirthios) for about 2 kilometers. Follow the road signs for Kourtaliotiko Gorge. The walk is scenic, taking approximately 30-40 minutes, but be prepared for some uphill sections.
