The Guora Gate is located at the beginning of Ethnikis Antistaseos Street, marking the entrance to Rethymno's Old Town. From the Four Martyrs Square (Plateia Tessaron Martiron), walk east towards the Old Town; the gate will be directly ahead. The gate is easily accessible on foot from most locations within Rethymno's city center.

Rethymno's intercity bus station (KTEL) is within walking distance of the Guora Gate. From the bus station, walk towards the Old Town. Follow the signs towards the city center. Once you reach Ethnikis Antistaseos Street, the Guora Gate will be visible. Bus tickets within the city cost around €1.20. Intercity bus fares vary depending on the destination.
