Walking
From Rethymno's Old Town, head towards the waterfront promenade (Akti Enoseos). Walk along the promenade towards the east, starting from the Venetian Harbor area. Continue for approximately 15 minutes until you reach the Breakwater of Rethymno. The breakwater extends into the sea and is easily identifiable by the lighthouse at its end.

From Rethymno city center, take a local bus towards the Rethymno beach area. Check the bus schedule for routes that stop near the beachfront. After getting off the bus, walk east along the beach for about 5-10 minutes until you reach the Breakwater. Bus fare is approximately €1.20.
