Getting There

• Car Rental

Once you arrive in the city, look for signs to the Medieval City, which is in the central part of Rhodes Town. Park your car in one of the public parking areas outside the Medieval City walls. From the parking area, walk through the entrance to the Medieval City and proceed to Megalou Alexandrou square, where Our Lady of the Castle (Panayia) is located. Be aware that parking might incur fees, usually around €1 to €2 per hour.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Our Lady of the Castle (Panayia) using public transport, take a bus to Rhodes Town from any major location on the island. The main bus station is located in the center of Rhodes Town. Once you arrive, you can either walk or take a local taxi to Megalou Alexandrou square. If walking, head towards the Medieval City area. The walk should take approximately 15-20 minutes.   For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi directly to Our Lady of the Castle (Panayia). Simply flag down a taxi or use a ride-hailing app if available in the area. The taxi will take you directly to Megalou Alexandrou square, which is located in the Medieval City. This option is especially useful if you're traveling with luggage or in a group. Expect to pay around €10-€15 for a taxi fare from Rhodes Town center.
