Lion Square is centrally located and easily accessible on foot from many points in Heraklion. From the Heraklion Archaeological Museum, head east on 28th October Street for approximately 600 meters. The square will be at the end of the street. There are shops and cafes along the way.

Buses depart every 20 minutes and cost approximately €1-€2. Purchase tickets at the airport or on the bus, though on-the-bus tickets cost more. From the main bus station, Lion Square is a short walk.
