Start at the central square of Ioannina, known as Plateia Eleftherias. From here, head northwest on Averof Street towards the lakefront. Continue walking along the lakeshore, enjoying the beautiful views of Lake Pamvotis. After about 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with B. Makri Street. Turn left onto B. Makri Street, which will lead you directly to the Ic Kale Acropolis. The entrance is located at Bisarion Makri 14.

From the central square of Ioannina, take bus line 2 towards Koutouki. The bus will take you along the lakefront and drop you off at the stop closest to Bisarion Makri Street. After getting off, walk a short distance towards Bisarion Makri Street and follow it to the entrance of the Ic Kale Acropolis.
