Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the central square of Katerini, known as Plateia Eleftherias. Head southwest towards the main street, 28 Oktovriou Street. Walk along 28 Oktovriou Street until you reach the intersection with Kon/nou Karamanli Street. Turn left onto Kon/nou Karamanli Street and continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the bus station.

    At Katerini's main bus station, purchase a ticket to Korinos. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule for the next departure. The journey to Korinos takes approximately 20 minutes. Disembark at the Korinos bus stop, which is centrally located.

  • Walking

    From the Korinos bus stop, head northeast on the main road (Leoforos Egnatia) for about 500 meters. When you reach the intersection with the road leading to the Tumulus A, turn right. Continue straight for another 300 meters, and you will see the Macedonian Tomb (Tumulus A) on your left. The site is marked and easy to identify.
