Car
If you're traveling by car, start by navigating to the Epar.Od. Maganou - Fiskardou road. From popular destinations like Argostoli, head north on the Epar.Od. Argostoliou - Porou road until you reach the junction with Epar.Od. Maganou - Fiskardou. Turn onto this road and continue for approximately 20 kilometers. You will find the Cave on your left side, just before reaching the village of Fiskardo. There is usually parking available nearby, but be prepared for a small fee if the area is busy.
Public Transportation
To reach the Cave using public transportation, take a bus from Argostoli to Fiskardo. Buses run several times a day, and you should check the local schedule for exact times. The journey takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Fiskardo bus station, walk towards the Epar.Od. Maganou - Fiskardou road and follow the signs to the Cave, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the station. Make sure to confirm the return bus schedule to avoid long waits.
Taxi
Another option is to hire a taxi from your location in Kefalonia to the Cave. This is a more convenient option, especially if you're traveling with a group or have luggage. The fare may vary depending on your starting point, but from Argostoli, it typically costs around €30-€40. Ensure to agree on the fare or ask for the meter to be used before starting your journey.
