Walking
If you are staying in the town of Kalambaka, start at the central square (Plateia Dimarchou) where the bus station is located. From there, head north on Trikalon Street for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the road that leads to the village of Kalarites. Follow the signs to Kalarites, which will guide you through the scenic rural landscape. The hike to Kalarites takes approximately 2 hours, so wear comfortable shoes and bring water.
Public Transport
From Kalambaka, take a local bus towards the village of Kalarites. Buses leave from the central bus station (Ktel). Check the schedule for departure times, as they may vary. The bus ride takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Kalarites, follow the marked trails to the Syrrako Trail, which will lead you to the hiking area. Ensure you have a map or a GPS-enabled device for navigation.
