Walking
If you are in the town of Kalabaka, start at the main square (Plateia Dimitriou) where you can find several cafes and shops. From the square, head northeast on Trikalon Street (Οδός Τρικάλων) towards the intersection with Agiou Nikolaou Street. Turn left onto Agiou Nikolaou Street and continue until you reach the foot of the Meteora rock formations. As you walk, you will see the breathtaking views of the monasteries above. Follow the signs for 'Σημείο θέασης Μετεώρων' or ask locals for directions. The viewpoint is located at PM69+MJ, which should take about 30 minutes on foot from the main square.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Kalabaka. Begin your ride from the main square (Plateia Dimitriou) and head northeast on Trikalon Street. After a short ride, turn left onto Agiou Nikolaou Street. The route is approximately 2 kilometers and will take you about 10-15 minutes. You'll enjoy a beautiful ride with scenic views of the Meteora rocks. Follow the signs to 'Σημείο θέασης Μετεώρων' as you approach the viewpoint located at PM69+MJ.
Public Transport
Unfortunately, there is no direct public transport to 'Σημείο θέασης Μετεώρων' as it is primarily a walking destination. However, you can take a local bus from Kalabaka to Kastraki and then walk. From the Kalabaka bus station, catch a bus heading towards Kastraki. Once you arrive at Kastraki, follow the signs towards Meteora or ask locals for directions to 'Σημείο θέασης Μετεώρων'. The walk from Kastraki should take about 20-25 minutes.
