Walking
From the center of Kalambaka, head towards the main street (Trikalon Street) and walk north. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the E92 highway, keeping in mind that this road is often busy. Walk along the sidewalk for about 30 minutes; you will pass several local shops and cafes. As you approach the outskirts of Kalambaka, look for signs directing you towards Meteora. Follow the signs to the right towards the trails leading up to the rock formations.
Walking
Continue on the trail, following the path that leads you through the stunning landscape until you reach the point where the path forks. At the fork, take the left path, which will lead you toward Staurós. Be attentive to the signs along the way, as they will guide you through the beautiful forested areas. After approximately 20-30 minutes of walking, you will arrive at Staurós. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding area.
Bus
If you prefer a quicker route, check the local bus schedules at the Kalambaka bus station. Buses operate regularly to various destinations around Meteora. Take a bus that goes towards Kastraki and inform the driver to drop you off at a point close to the foot of the trails leading to Staurós. From the drop-off point, you will need to walk approximately 15 minutes along the forest trail to reach your destination.
