    From the New Port, the Sea Bus offers a frequent and convenient connection to the Old Port in Mykonos Town. The Sea Bus station is easily visible upon arrival. The ride takes approximately 8 minutes and costs €2 per person. The Sea Bus is wheelchair accessible and runs every 30 minutes.

  • Public Transport

    The public bus (KTEL) provides a cost-effective way to reach Mykonos Town and other destinations on the island. The bus station is located near the port. Tickets can be purchased from the bus driver for around €1.50-€2.50, cash only. Be aware that buses can be crowded, especially during peak season.

  • Taxi

    Taxis are available at the port, but they can be scarce, especially during the high season. A taxi ride to Mykonos Town will cost approximately €10-€15. There is a taxi stand located near the port exit.

Since 2021, both conventional and high-speed ferries use the New Port. The port offers various facilities for travelers, including ticket offices, ATM machines, car rental services, and taxi ranks. You'll also find taverns, restaurants, and accommodations near the port. While waiting for your ferry, you can enjoy a coffee or a snack at one of the port's cafes. Keep in mind that the port can get extremely crowded during the high season, so it's advisable to arrive at least one hour before your ferry's departure. From the port, you can easily reach Mykonos Town via the Sea Bus, public bus, or taxi.
