Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from Gaios, the main town in Paxos. Take the road leading out of Gaios towards the north. Continue on the main road for approximately 6 kilometers until you reach the village of Lakka. From Lakka, follow the signs towards Parga. After about 4 kilometers, you will see the sign for Portu Parge. Turn left and follow the road until you arrive at the marina. Parking may be available nearby, but ensure to check local regulations.

• Public Bus

  If you prefer public transportation, head to the bus station in Gaios. Buses regularly run from Gaios to Lakka and Parga. Purchase a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. The fare is typically around €2-€3. Depending on the season, the bus may run every hour. Once you arrive at Lakka, you will need to take a taxi or walk the remaining distance to Portu Parge, which is approximately 4 kilometers away. Taxis are usually available near the bus stop.

• Taxi

  For a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from any location in Paxos. Just inform the driver that you want to go to Portu Parge. The journey from Gaios to Portu Parge will take around 15-20 minutes. The fare may vary but expect to pay between €15-€25 depending on your starting point.

• Bicycle

  If you're feeling adventurous, consider renting a bicycle in Gaios. Take the main road north towards Lakka and then follow the directions to Portu Parge, ensuring to ride safely along the winding roads. The total distance is approximately 10 kilometers, so be prepared for a moderate cycling experience. Make sure to wear a helmet and stay hydrated.
