Getting There

Walking
From the center of Pyrgos, head east on Epar.Od. Pyrgou - Kamariou towards the main road. After about 500 meters, you will reach a large roundabout. Take the first exit onto the road that leads to Fira (the capital). Continue straight for approximately 3 kilometers. You will pass through scenic landscapes and vineyards. As you approach Fira, you will see signs for Kontochoriou. Keep an eye out for the signs as you will need to turn left onto Kontochoriou road. The ANHYDROUS Cellar Door is located on this road. It should take around 40 minutes to walk from Pyrgos to the winery.

From Pyrgos, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the central square. Look for the bus heading towards Fira. The buses run frequently, so you shouldn't wait long. Once on the bus, enjoy the short ride to Fira. It takes about 15 minutes. Upon arriving in Fira, get off at the main bus station. From there, you can either walk or take a taxi to Kontochoriou. If you choose to walk, head towards the main road and follow the signs for Kontochoriou; it’s a 15-minute walk from the bus station.
