From Pyrgos, walk to the Pyrgos bus station located near the central square. Look for the bus heading towards Megalochori or Fira, as they both stop near Venetsanos Winery. The bus ride takes approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you get off at Megalochori, head towards the direction of the caldera. Follow the signs to Venetsanos Winery, which is about a 15-minute walk downhill from the bus stop.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Pyrgos to Venetsanos Winery. Simply flag down a taxi or ask your hotel to arrange one for you. The ride should take around 10 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver to take you to 'Venetsanos Winery' in Megalochori.

For a more scenic route, you can walk from Pyrgos to Venetsanos Winery. Start at the main square in Pyrgos and head south towards the main road. Follow the signs for Megalochori. The walk is approximately 3 kilometers and will take around 30-40 minutes. Enjoy the beautiful views along the way as you approach the caldera.
