Getting There

  • Walking from the Old Town

    Start at the main gate of the Old Town, the D'Amboise Gate. Exit the Old Town and walk straight towards the harbor. Continue along the waterfront promenade until you reach the end of the harbor. Turn left onto Akteou Street, which will lead you towards the modern part of Rhodes. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach a roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto 28th October Street. Walk straight for approximately 500 meters, and then turn right onto Georgiou Papanikolaou Street. The National Theater of Rhodes will be on your left, at number 30.

  • Bus from the Central Bus Station

    From the Central Bus Station in Rhodes, take bus number 5 or 8 towards the town center. The journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Disembark at the stop near the Cathedral of Rhodes. From there, walk straight down the street (Sokratous Street) until you reach the intersection with 28th October Street. Turn left onto 28th October Street and walk for about 300 meters. Turn right onto Georgiou Papanikolaou Street, and the National Theater of Rhodes will be on your left, at number 30.
