    Starting from the Samaria Gorge entrance, head south on the E65 road towards Chania. Continue for approximately 37 km until you reach the village of Foinikas. Follow the signs for Preveli Beach and Palm Forest. The drive will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive in Foinikas, look for signs directing you towards the Preveli Palm Forest. There is a parking area near the entrance of the forest.

    From the Samaria Gorge entrance, take a bus to Chania. Buses run frequently, and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Chania, transfer to a bus heading to Plakias, which is approximately a 1-hour ride. After reaching Plakias, catch a local bus to Preveli Palm Forest.
