Car
If you are driving from the Samaria Gorge exit (Xyloskalo), head towards Chania on the E4 road. Continue for approximately 35 kilometers until you reach the town of Plakias. From Plakias, follow signs to Souda Beach, which is only about 5 kilometers away. There is parking available near the beach, but it can be busy during peak season. Make sure to have some coins for parking meters if applicable.

From the Samaria Gorge exit, take a KTEL bus towards Chania. Once you reach Chania, transfer to another KTEL bus that goes to Plakias. The entire journey may take around 2-3 hours depending on connections. After arriving in Plakias, you can either walk to Souda Beach, which is approximately a 30-minute walk, or take a local taxi for a quicker option. Taxis are available at the bus station.
