From the main town of Samos (Vathy), head to the local bus station located at the waterfront. Take the bus heading towards Karlovasi. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at Karlovasi, which is the terminal stop. From here, ask locals for directions to the Ancient Direction Signal. It's about a 1.5 km walk from the bus station, heading northwest, along the coastal road.

If you are starting from the town of Pythagorion, walk towards the main road (Epar.Od. Pythagoreioy - Samos). Follow the signs toward Samos town (Vathy). This route is approximately 12 km, and it will take around 2.5 to 3 hours. You can also take breaks at local cafes along the way. Once you reach Vathy, head towards the bus station and follow the directions provided above.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in Samos town. Cycle towards the Karlovasi direction on the coastal road. It’s about a 10 km ride to Karlovasi, which should take around 30-40 minutes. Once in Karlovasi, you can park your bike and walk the remaining 1.5 km to the Ancient Direction Signal by following the coastal path.
