From Perissa beach, follow the marked trail towards Ancient Thera. The walk to Panagia Katefiani takes approximately 15-20 minutes and involves a climb. The chapel is located on the path, about 200 meters up the slope of Mesa Vouno mountain. Be prepared for a slightly steep and rocky path. No costs are associated with this route.

From Fira, take the KTEL bus to Perissa. From Perissa bus terminal, walk towards Mesa Vouno mountain and follow the trail to Ancient Thera. The chapel is approximately a 12-minute walk from the Perissa bus stop. KTEL bus fare from Fira to Perissa is approximately €2-€3. Note that buses from Fira to Perissa run approximately every 1.5 hours. Check the official timetables for up-to-date schedules.

Taxi
From Fira, a taxi to the base of the trail leading to Panagia Katefiani in Perissa will cost approximately €18-€22 and take around 15 minutes. From there, follow the walking directions for the final ascent. There are no parking facilities directly at the chapel. Alternatively, a taxi directly from Santorini Airport (JTR) to Pyrgos costs from 25€.
