    From Fira, take the KTEL bus to Perissa. From Perissa bus terminal, walk towards Mesa Vouno mountain and follow the trail to Ancient Thera. The chapel is approximately a 12-minute walk from the Perissa bus stop. KTEL bus fare from Fira to Perissa is approximately €2-€3. Note that buses from Fira to Perissa run approximately every 1.5 hours. Check the official timetables for up-to-date schedules.

    From Fira, a taxi to the base of the trail leading to Panagia Katefiani in Perissa will cost approximately €18-€22 and take around 15 minutes. From there, follow the walking directions for the final ascent. There are no parking facilities directly at the chapel. Alternatively, a taxi directly from Santorini Airport (JTR) to Pyrgos costs from 25€.
