Car
If you are driving from the islands, you will first need to take a ferry to the mainland. The most common route is to use the ferry services from Hydra or Spetses to Piraeus port. Once you arrive at Piraeus, follow signs for the Athenian coastal road (Leoforos Posidonos) towards Alimos. Continue on this road for approximately 12 km. When you reach Alimos, look for signs directing you to 'Alimos Marina'. The marina is located at Μαρίνα Αλίμου, Alimos 174 55.

Public Transportation
From the islands, take a ferry to Piraeus port. Upon arrival at Piraeus, exit the ferry terminal and head to the metro station located just across the street. Take the Metro Line 1 (Green Line) towards Kifisia and get off at 'Neos Kosmos' station. Transfer to Metro Line 2 (Red Line) towards Elliniko. Get off at 'Elliniko' station. From there, you can take a taxi to Alimos Marina, which is about a 5-10 minute ride, or you can catch bus number 100 from Elliniko to Alimos Marina. Ensure you have some cash for the bus fare, which is around €1.40.

If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from Piraeus port or from your accommodation in Athens. The taxi ride from Piraeus to Alimos Marina will take approximately 25 minutes depending on traffic and will cost around €25-€35. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.

For the more adventurous, you can bike from Piraeus to Alimos Marina. After arriving at Piraeus, you can rent a bicycle from one of the many rental shops near the port. Take the coastal bike path along Leoforos Posidonos. This scenic route is about 12 km and will take you approximately 45 minutes to an hour, depending on your pace. Always wear a helmet and follow traffic rules.
