Begin your journey at the Skiathos bus station located near the town center. Take bus number 26 towards Koukounaries Beach. The bus runs approximately every 30 minutes, and the fare is about €2.50. Once you arrive at Koukounaries, you will need to walk down to the beach where you can find small boat taxis that will take you to Arkos Island. The boat ride costs around €10 for a round trip and takes about 10 minutes.
