Car
From Patras, drive east on the E65 highway towards Corinth. Continue on E65 until the junction for E94 towards Tripoli. After approximately 50 km, exit towards E65 for Kalamata. Stay on E65 until you reach Chalkeia. In Chalkeia, follow local signs towards Kavourotrypa Beach, roughly 15 minutes from the center. Note that direct signage may be limited, so using a GPS or maps application is recommended. There are no parking costs.
Public Transport
Take a bus from Patras to Kalamata, a journey of about 2 hours. From Kalamata, take a local bus or taxi to Chalkeia. Local bus schedules may be infrequent, so check ahead. From Chalkeia, it is approximately a 15-minute walk to Kavourotrypa Beach. Ask locals for directions due to limited signage. Bus fare from Patras to Kalamata is approximately €15-€20. Local bus or taxi from Kalamata to Chalkeia will cost approximately €5-€15.
