Walking
Black Bay Beach is accessible via a 20-minute walk from the end of Cotton Bailey Road in Marigot. From St. George's, take a bus or taxi to Marigot. From the end of Cotton Bailey Road, follow the dirt path past a property with a wire fence. Continue along the path, passing small farms and an orchard. The path will lead you through some bush where you should see a cave. After a few minutes, the path goes steeply down a hill to the beach. Be careful on the steep descent.
Public Transport
To reach Black Bay Beach using public transport, take a bus from St. George's to Marigot. Buses are independently operated vans with route numbers displayed on the windshield. The cost is between EC$2.50 to EC$6.50 (US$0.92 to US$2.40) depending on the distance. From Marigot, follow the walking directions from the end of Cotton Bailey Road.
Taxi
Take a taxi from St. George's to the end of Cotton Bailey Road in Marigot. Negotiate the price before accepting the ride. From there, follow the walking directions to the beach. Taxi fares vary depending on the distance. As an estimate, a taxi from St. George to Grand Anse Valley is EC$50. From the airport to Annandale Waterfall would cost EC$75. Local transportation is about $16 (EC$43) per person, per day.
