To reach Green Island, you'll need to take a ferry from Grenville Ferry Terminal. From the center of Grenville, walk towards the main road (Eastern Main Road) and follow it until you reach the terminal. Purchase a ticket for the ferry to Green Island. The ferry ride typically takes 30-45 minutes. Check the departure times beforehand. A one-way trip from Grenada to Carriacou costs EC$80.
Public Transportation
From any location in Saint Andrew, take a local bus heading towards Grenville. The buses will be marked and will take you directly to Grenville. Once you arrive in Grenville, head to the Carriacou Ferry Terminal. Bus fares range from EC$2.50 to EC$6.50, depending on the route.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Grenada and can take you to Grenville. From there, you can take the ferry to Green Island. It is a good idea to negotiate the fare before departing. The ride from St. George's to Grand Anse Beach, for example, will cost you EC$35-45.
