Cetti Bay Overlook is a breathtaking scenic point on Guam's southwest coast, offering stunning views of Cetti Bay and the surrounding area. The overlook is part of Guam’s Territorial Seashore Park, which protects the island's natural beauty and historical sites. From the overlook, visitors can see the volcanic rock formations that characterize southern Guam, including the pillow lava formations of Attelong Acho, or Black Rock, to the north. In the distance to the south, Cocos Island (Dano) is visible off the coast of Malesso'/Merizo village. The coastal area around Cetti Bay has been inhabited by Chamorros for approximately 3,000 years. Latte stones and pottery shards found in the area provide evidence of this ancient civilization. The Spanish later created a road system that followed the coastline from Hagåtña, south through Cetti Bay, to Humåtak, further adding to the area's historical importance. Cetti Bay is listed on both the Guam and National Registers of Historic Places. The slopes around Cetti Bay are covered with grassland, savanna, and coconut trees. A ravine forest hides Cetti Falls, adding to the area's natural appeal. While reaching Cetti Bay by foot can be challenging, the overlook provides easy access to stunning views and a glimpse into Guam's geological and cultural history.
