Getting There

  • Driving

    From Hagåtña, take Route 1/Marine Corps Drive south for approximately 11 miles until you reach the main gate of Naval Base Guam. Turn left onto Route 2 and continue for another five miles to Agat. Proceed south through the village and stay on the road as it climbs into the southern hills. After a few minutes of uphill driving, you'll see the Sella Bay viewpoint on the right. Continue past it for another minute, and you'll find the Cetti Bay Overlook on the right. Park along the street.

Cetti Bay Overlook is a must-see destination on Guam's southern coast, offering stunning views of Cetti Bay and the surrounding landscape. The Spanish later created a road system that followed the coastline from Hagatna, south through Cetti Bay to Umatac. Today, Cetti Bay is a popular destination for hiking and boating, offering opportunities for fishing and snorkeling. The overlook itself provides an accessible way to appreciate the beauty and history of this unique area. Interpretive signs offer context about the landscape and its past. While the bay can be accessed by foot, it requires a challenging hike along the shore from Umatac or Sella Bay. The easier route to access Cetti Bay Overlook is by car.
