Walking
From the central plaza in Hagåtña, walk west on Route 1 (Marine Corps Drive) towards Asan. Continue for about 1.5 miles, enjoying the coastal views. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach the intersection with Route 8. Cross Route 1 at the pedestrian crossing and continue straight on Route 8. After about 0.5 miles, you will see signs directing you to Asan Invasion Beach. Follow the pathway to the beach area. There are no costs associated with walking.
Public Transport
From Hagåtña, take the Guam Regional Transit Authority (GRTA) bus towards Asan. The bus ride takes approximately 13 minutes. Get off at the Fish Eye Marine Park in Asan. From there, it is a short walk to Asan Invasion Beach. A one-way bus ticket costs approximately $1, and a daily pass is available for $3. Note that buses do not operate on Sundays and national holidays.
Taxi
Taxis are available at hotels and major shopping centers in Guam. The standard flag rate is $2.40, with $4.00 for the first mile and $0.80 for every ¼ mile thereafter. A taxi ride from Hagåtña to Asan Invasion Beach typically costs between $30 and $40 and takes about 7 minutes. There are no additional fees or tolls.
