If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, Quetzaltenango. Take the CA-1 highway heading towards Chichicastenango. After approximately 40 kilometers, take the exit towards Chichicastenango and follow the signs. Once in Chichicastenango, navigate to the coordinates WVPP+M4V, which will direct you to Pascual Abaj. Ensure to park in a safe area nearby and be prepared for a short walk to the site.

Public Transportation
To reach Pascual Abaj using public transportation, take a chicken bus from Quetzaltenango to Chichicastenango, which costs around 10-15 Quetzales. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Chichicastenango bus terminal, you can either walk to the site, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a local tuk-tuk for around 20 Quetzales. The tuk-tuk will drop you off close to Pascual Abaj, from where you can walk to the entrance.

If you prefer to walk from the Chichicastenango bus terminal to Pascual Abaj, head southwest on Calle Principal. After around 1 kilometer, you will reach the site. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions if needed. Walking allows you to experience the local environment and culture up close.
