Once you reach Panajachel, follow the signs toward the lake. Keep driving until you reach Antigua Finca San Buenaventura, where Reserva Natural Atitlán is located. There is parking available on-site.

Public Transportation - Chicken Bus
To reach Reserva Natural Atitlán from other towns in the Central Highlands, take a chicken bus (local bus) to Panajachel. From Sololá, the chicken buses leave regularly from the main terminal. The fare is around 10-15 Quetzales. Once you arrive in Panajachel, you can either walk to Reserva Natural Atitlán, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a taxi for about 20 Quetzales to get to Antigua Finca San Buenaventura.

Alternatively, you can book a shuttle service from major cities like Antigua to Panajachel. These shuttles are more comfortable and typically cost around 100-150 Quetzales. Upon arrival in Panajachel, you can walk or take a taxi to the reserve as noted above.
