    If you are driving, start from the main town in the Central Highlands, such as Sololá or Antigua. Take CA-1 (Pan-American Highway) towards Panajachel. Once you reach Panajachel, follow the signs toward the lake. Keep driving until you reach Antigua Finca San Buenaventura, where Reserva Natural Atitlán is located. There is parking available on-site.

    Public Transportation - Chicken Bus

    To reach Reserva Natural Atitlán from other towns in the Central Highlands, take a chicken bus (local bus) to Panajachel. From Sololá, the chicken buses leave regularly from the main terminal. The fare is around 10-15 Quetzales. Once you arrive in Panajachel, you can either walk to Reserva Natural Atitlán, which is about a 20-minute walk, or take a taxi for about 20 Quetzales to get to Antigua Finca San Buenaventura.

    Public Transportation - Shuttle Service

    Alternatively, you can book a shuttle service from major cities like Antigua to Panajachel. These shuttles are more comfortable and typically cost around 100-150 Quetzales. Upon arrival in Panajachel, you can walk or take a taxi to the reserve as noted above.
