Public Transport
From Quetzaltenango (Xela), take a 'chicken bus' towards Zunil. Buses depart regularly from the bus station near the Templo Minerva in Zone 1. The bus ride costs approximately Q5-Q7 and takes around 30 minutes. In Zunil, hire a taxi or tuk-tuk to Fuentes Georginas. Negotiate the fare beforehand; expect to pay Q50-Q60 for the 20-25 minute ride. Alternatively, some travelers walk part of the way and catch a ride in a passing truck for around Q5. Be aware that the last bus from Zunil back to Xela typically leaves around 4 PM.

From Quetzaltenango, a taxi or ride-share directly to Fuentes Georginas is the most convenient option. The journey is approximately 18 km and takes 40-60 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around Q100-Q130 for the ride. Note that Uber may be available in Quetzaltenango, but service can be unreliable in more rural areas like Fuentes Georginas.
Driving
From Quetzaltenango, drive towards Zunil. Once you arrive in Zunil, follow the signs to Fuentes Georginas. The road is well-marked but can be steep and winding. Parking is available on-site for Q25. Be prepared for fog, especially in the late morning or early afternoon.
