Getting There

    To reach La Calle de las Sombrillas in San Juan La Laguna, start by taking a boat from any of the main towns around Lake Atitlán, such as Panajachel or Santiago Atitlán. If you're starting from Panajachel, head to the main dock (muelle) and look for boats heading to San Juan La Laguna. The boat ride typically takes around 30 minutes. Upon arriving at the San Juan La Laguna dock, you'll be greeted by stunning views. From the dock, walk straight towards the town center, following the main path. After a few minutes, turn right onto C. Chi Nima Ya', where you'll find La Calle de las Sombrillas, famous for its vibrant umbrellas.

    Once you arrive at the San Juan La Laguna dock, exit the boat and head straight into the town. Walk along the main path for about 5-7 minutes until you reach a fork in the road.
