    From the San Marcos La Laguna dock, exit the dock area and follow the main path uphill. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with the main road (Calle Principal). Turn right onto Calle Principal and walk for about 10-15 minutes until you see signs for Reserva Natural Cerro Tzankujil on your left. Follow the signs to the entrance of the reserve. There is an entrance fee of Q15 for foreigners.

  • Public Transport

    If arriving from another town on Lake Atitlán, take a public lancha (boat) to San Marcos La Laguna. Lanchas depart frequently from Panajachel, San Pedro, and other lakeside towns. From Panajachel, the boat ride costs Q20-25 and takes about 45 minutes. From San Pedro, the cost is Q10. Once in San Marcos, follow the walking directions from the dock to reach the reserve.
