What began as a cochinilla farm evolved into a thriving coffee plantation in the early 1900s. In 2000, the family transformed part of the plantation into a museum complex, Centro Cultural La Azotea.Today, visitors can explore the Museo del Café to learn about the journey from bean to cup, complete with exhibits, tastings, and finca tours. Casa K'ojom showcases traditional Mayan music, while the Rincon de Sacatepequez highlights Mayan textiles. Enjoy coffee beer workshops, chocolate making, horseback riding, or explore the grounds.
