Getting There

    From Antigua's Central Park, head north on 1a Avenida Norte. Continue for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the trailhead at the base of the hill. The path consists of well-maintained stone steps leading up to Cerro de la Cruz. The walk is uphill and takes about 20 minutes. There is no cost to enter.

  • Tuk-Tuk/Taxi

    Tuk-tuks are readily available near the Santa Catalina Arch and in Central Park. A tuk-tuk ride to Cerro de la Cruz costs around 30 Quetzales (GTQ). Alternatively, a short taxi ride from the city center will cost approximately 52.5 GTQ, with taxi rates starting at 27.5 GTQ plus 5 GTQ per kilometer. The ride takes about 5-10 minutes, depending on traffic.

  • Driving

    From central Antigua, drive north on 1a Avenida Norte. Continue to follow the road as it ascends the hill. Limited parking is available at the top. A parking fee of 5 Quetzales (GTQ) is typically charged for cars, bikes, and taxis. The drive takes only a few minutes.
