If you are driving, start from Flores, the main town in Peten. Head south on Route CA-9. Continue for about 30 kilometers until you reach the town of San Benito. At San Benito, follow the signs to Route 6, which is also marked for Seibal. After approximately 15 kilometers on Route 6, you will see the signs leading to Seibal. Turn right onto the access road, and after a short drive, you will arrive at the archaeological site of Seibal.
Public Transportation
To reach Seibal by public transport, head to the bus station in Flores. Look for buses heading towards San Benito or Sayaxché. Once you get on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Seibal. The journey will take about an hour. After reaching San Benito, you may need to switch buses to one that is heading towards the archaeological site. Confirm with the driver that they will take you to Seibal, and enjoy the ride through the scenic landscapes of Peten.
