    From the central area of Tikal, head towards the main entrance of Tikal National Park. Follow the main path that leads you past the visitor center. Continue walking straight until you reach the end of the main path, where you will see signs pointing towards the different archaeological sites. Follow the signs to Tikal Temple I, also known as Temple of the Great Jaguar. This will take you through lush jungle paths with opportunities to spot wildlife along the way. The journey should take about 30 minutes on foot.
